THE BEGINNING

Hotel Montalembert opened its doors in 1926, at a time when Paris was embracing a renewed sense of vitality. In the wake of the interwar years, the Left Bank became a hub of intellectual, artistic, and literary energy. It was here, just steps from the Musée d’Orsay and Le Bon Marché, that Montalembert naturally found its place. Behind its stone façade, the hotel laid the foundations of what it remains today: a discreet address shaped by the spirit of its neighborhood and by the artistic soul of Paris.

THE FRAGRANCE
of Montalembert

On the occasion of its centenary, Hôtel Montalembert has created an exclusive candle, conceived as a true olfactory signature.

Its unique fragrance opens with luminous notes of bergamot and orange, subtly softened by the freshness of neroli and petitgrain. At its heart, orange blossom reveals a delicately creamy sweetness, before giving way to a warm base of sandalwood, enhanced with a subtle hint of spiced cardamom.

Lit at home, it rekindles the gentle memory of a moment spent at Montalembert and, for the time of a flame, brings back the spirit of the house and its rich history. This creation is included as part of the “100th Anniversary Experience” or available for purchase at the hotel.

EVENINGS
& Celebrations

As night falls, Hotel Montalembert embraces the spirit of the 1930s. The centenary’s musical evenings bring back the atmosphere of the guinguettes of the past, with jazzy rhythms, dancing tunes, and a light sense of elegance. In the restaurant and on the terrace, music extends conversations and shared moments.

AT THE RESTAURANT

At Montalembert Restaurant, the centenary is celebrated as a dialogue between heritage and modernity. The Chef Cyril Russo unveils his “100 Years” Suggestions throughout the year, seasonal creations inspired by the spirit and history of the house, subtly reinterpreted with contemporary flair.

The experience continues at the bar with “Le Centenaire,” an exclusive cocktail crafted for the occasion, blending violet-infused Hendrick’s gin, fresh lemon, and Champagne. Elegant and luminous, it captures the vibrant soul of Saint-Germain-des-Prés as evening lights begin to glow.

This exclusive Centenary Menu (€75), features a starter and main course that evolve with seasonal ingredients, followed by the dessert “Vanilla 1926.”

At the Spa Montalembert, the centenary celebration extends into a moment of serene escape. Named “The Essence of 1926,” this exclusive 100-minute experience reflects the hotel’s philosophy of timeless elegance and restorative calm. Created in partnership with Calma Paris, the ritual combines a full-body massage & facial treatment. designed to rebalance energy, release tension, and restore deep well-being.

The treatment is performed with a bespoke Calma Paris oil, delicately infused with jasmine and rose, a subtle tribute to the iconic fragrances of the 1920s. The experience concludes with a herbal infusion, an intimate and timeless pause that echoes the spirit of the house.
